Emi got up at 4 this morning, and Ash was in and out with photo sessions and errands, so today was a very long day. We played games, colored, etc. but otherwise only a very short window of time to spend in the studio tonight. I am really happy about taking a hybrid approach to modular. It can do so many fun things — new sounds and ideas, but I also get to use tools I already have/know/enjoy. Spending money on modules to replace things (or parts of things) I already have just so I can operate completely in the rack seems silly. Early days yet, and in all things an evolution.
